How to Make Thai Curry at Home? Red Thai Curry Recipe | Green Thai Curry Recipe

Red Thai Curry Recipe – Vegetarian 

Serves – 4 persons
Ingredients

  • Tofu / Paneer – 350 gm
  • Broccoli florets – 50 gm
  • Eggplant or Brinjal – 30 gm
  • Mushrooms – 50 gm
  • Sweet corn – 1 cup
  • Onion chopped – 2 medium
  • Garlic – paste– 10 flakes
  • Ginger – paste – 10 grams
  • Fresh coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Red Thai Curry Masala – 2 tbsp
  • Coconut milk – 1 cup
  • Corn flour – 1 ½ tsp
  • Vegetable oil – 1 ½ tbsp
  • Soya Sauce – 1 tsp

Process of making Red Thai Curry 

  • Take a bowl and add coconut milk and corn flour, mix it and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in kadai and add ginger, garlic paste and stir for 2 minutes then add onion, stir for 5 minutes.
  • Add all chopped vegetables, stir for 1 minute.
  • Add Red Thai Curry masala and soya sauce, stir for 1 minute.
  • Add coconut mixture, stir for 2 minutes. Add tofu / paneer and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice, noodles, or pasta.

Red Thai Curry Recipe – Non-vegetarian 

For 4 persons

  • Chicken, Pork or Shrimp / anyone – 1/2 kg
  • Beans chopped – half cup
  • Red Chili Fresh chopped – 2
  • Sweet corn – 1 cup
  • Onion chopped – 2 medium
  • Garlic – paste– 10 flakes
  • Ginger – paste – 10 grams
  • Fresh coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Red Thai Curry Masala – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Coconut milk – 1 cup
  • Corn flour – 1 ½ tsp
  • Vegetable oil – 1 ½ tbsp
  • Soya Sauce – 1 tsp

Method of making Red Thai Curry  

  • Take a bowl and add coconut milk and corn flour, mix it and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in kadai and add ginger, garlic paste and stir for 2 minutes then add onion, stir for 5 minutes.

Green Thai Curry Recipe 

Serves – 4 Persons
Ingredients

  • Broccoli florets – 100 gm
  • Carrot diced – 100 gm
  • Bamboo shoots chopped – 100 gm
  • Red bell pepper chopped – 50 gm
  • Green peas – ½ cup
  • Zucchini chopped – 100gm
  • Yellow bell pepper chopped – 50 gm
  • Mushroom chopped – 100gm
  • Tofu / Paneer diced – 50gm
  • Basil or Kafir lime leaves – 1 sprag
  • Vegetable Oil – 3 tbsp
  • Tomato chopped – 1 medium
  • Coconut milk – 1 ½ cup
  • Green Thai Curry Powder – 1 ½ tbsp
  • Vegetable stock – 1 cup
  • Garlic chopped – 3 flakes
  • Ginger chopped – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1tsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves – 1tbsp

Method of making Green Thai Curry 

  • Take a bowl, add Green Thai curry masala and 1 tbsp vegetable stock, and make a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan add chopped ginger and garlic, stir for 1 minute. Add chopped vegetables and stir for 2 minutes then add ½ tsp salt, stir for 1 minute.
  • Add tofu / paneer and curry paste. Mix it well and stir for 1 minute.
  • Add the remaining vegetable stock and salt, coconut milk. Stir and cover the lid for 5-8 minutes.
  • Add basil or kafir lime leaves and stir for 1 minute.
  • Remove the curry in a serving bowl and sprinkle the fresh coriander, serve with steamed rice, pasta, or bread.
