Vegetable Sandwich Recipe
Vegetables and kids are not good friends, as a mom your biggest problem is how to feed vegetables to kids. Some kids don’t like capsicum, some corn, some tomato, etc. But we know that all vegetables are equally important for our kid’s growth.
Fully cooked veggies are less healthy than raw or semi-cooked. That’s why you should try to feed them raw or semi-cooked veggies. But the is the question, how to do that? Here is the solution to all your worries, try our special Vegetable Sandwich recipe and enjoy the cooking.
Recipe of Vegetable Sandwich
For 3 Sandwiches
Ingredients
- Wheat bread / White bread – Add 6 slices
- Cabbage – 50gm chopped
- Carrot – 50gm chopped
- Onion – small chopped
- Tomato – small – chopped
- Green capsicum – 50gm chopped
- Corn – half cup
- Parmesan Cheese – 2 ½ tbsp
- Cheese slice – 3
- Milk Cream – 3 tbsp
- Vegetable Sandwich Masala – 1 ½ tbsp
Process of making Vegetable Sandwich
- First, wash all the veggies and peel the carrot & onion then finely chop all the veggies. Take a mixing bowl and mix all the vegetables with a very light hand.
- Add Vegetable Sandwich Masala in it. Although this is salt-based masala, you don’t need to add more salt. But you can add according to your taste, then mix it well but gently. We are saying gently mix because veggies can lose moisture if we mix roughly.
- Now, add the Parmesan cheese, then add cream. Mix them all and keep them aside. Take a slice of bread and cut the sides of the bread.
- Now spread the prepared mixture on the slice and close it with the other.
- Your sandwich is ready for baking if you want a crunchy sandwich then to bake it in OTG or a griller. Otherwise, you can bake it in a sandwich maker or on Tawa.
- Now it’s ready to eat, serve it with ketchup and garnish with cheese or paneer.
2. Tikka Sandwich Recipe
Tikka is one of the mouthwatering dishes, whether it is Paneer tikka, chicken tikka, or fish tikka. Did you ever try the tikka flavor in a sandwich? Not yet! Then you must try our Tikka Sandwich recipe, use this recipe for making paneer tikka or chicken tikka sandwiches.
Recipe of Tikka Sandwich
For 3 Sandwiches
Ingredients
- Bread – Add 6 slices
- Panner – 75 grams – medium cubes
- Onion – small chopped
- Tomato – small – chopped
- Green capsicum – 50gm chopped
- Hung curd – half cup
- Garlic grated – 1tbsp
- Ginger grated – 1 tsp
- Tikka Sandwich Masala – 2 tbsp
- Grated Cheese – 1 cup
- Mustard oil – preheated – ½ tsp
- Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
Process of making Paneer Tikka Sandwich
- Take paneer, green Capsicum and onion, wash the veggies, and chop them in small chunks, same as paneer.
- Then take a mixing bowl and put all the chopped material in that bowl. Drizzle a few drops of mustard oil and mix it well.
- Add Tikka sandwich masala in that mixture and mix it properly.
- Add hung curd and rest this mixture for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, heat vegetable oil in a grill pan or any nonstick pan. Cook the prepared mixture on grill or pan until soften but not too much.
- Put all the cooked mixture in a plate for cooling. Do not throw the leftover paste of bowl. We will use this paste as a mayo.
- Now take two slices of bread, cut the corners of the bread, and spread the cooked mixture and sprinkle the grated cheese one slice and leftover paste on another slice.
- Close the sandwich, now it’s ready to bake. Put the sandwich in preheated oven, until brown and crunchy.
- Now your Tikka Sandwich is ready, serve with mint mayo or chutney.

3. Palak Paneer Sandwich Recipe
Lots of kids and adults don’t like Palak or Spinach in any dish but we know that it is full of iron and minerals. You can use Palak or Spinach in your sandwich with Panner/ cottage cheese with our tested Palak Paneer Sandwich recipe and make your sandwich tasty and healthy.
Recipe of Palak Paneer Sandwich
For 3 Sandwiches
Ingredients
- Bread – Add 6 slices
- Palak – blanched & chopped – 1 cup
- Paneer cubes – half cup
- Green chili – deseeded and chopped – 1
- Ginger – chopped – 1 tsp
- Garlic – chopped – 1 tbsp
- Cream – 3 tbsp
- Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
- Palak paneer sandwich masala – 2 tbsp
- Grated cheese – ½ cup
- Veg Mayo – for the spread
- Tomato ketchup – for the spread
Process of making Palak Paneer Sandwich
- Take clean and fresh palak / spinach and wash it with normal water.
- Then blanched palak the hot water and strain it. Chopped when cool.
- Heat oil in a pan, add ginger, garlic, and green chili. Stir for 1 minute, then add palak and paneer. Stir for 2 minutes.
- Remove this mixture in a bowl and let it cool.
- Add cream and grated cheese and palak paneer sandwich masala, mix them all very gently.
- Take a slice of bread and cut the corners, spread veg mayo on one side and tomato ketchup on other side. Put the prepared mixture on one slice and close it with another.
- Now your sandwich is ready for bake, if you want crunchy sandwich then to bake it in OTG or Griller. Otherwise bake it in sandwich maker.
- Serve hot with cheese mayo or spicy tomato ketchup.
4. Spinach Corn Sandwich
Some people don’t prefer cottage cheese/paneer in sandwiches, you can add corn to sandwiches instead of paneer and make tasty Spinach corn sandwiches. Here is the recipe:

For 3 Sandwiches
Ingredients
- Spinach / Palak – blanched & chopped – 1 cup
- Sweet Corn boiled – ½ cup
- Milk cream – 3 tbsp
- Sandwich Spice Powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Onion chopped – 1 medium
- Mixed Cheese crushed – 1 ½ tbsp
- Garlic crushed – 2 flakes
- Tomato Ketchup – 1 tbsp
Process of making Spinach Corn Sandwich
- Take clean and fresh palak/spinach and wash it with normal water.
- Then blanched palak the hot water and strain it. Chopped when cool.
- Take a bowl and add chopped palak, corn, Spinach Corn Sandwich Spice, and all ingredients.
- Mix them gently, take one slice of bread, and spread this mixture on it. Spread tomato ketchup on another slice and put it on the mixture slice.
- Put some ghee or butter on the sandwich and grill it for 2 minutes then put it in OTG for 1 minute.
- Serve hot with cheese mayo or ketchup.
