Flame of the Forest Flower Tea is made from dried Palash flowers, Butea monosperma. The tree blooms in bright orange-red in spring, which is how it got its name. Steeped, it gives a golden-orange cup with a mild, earthy taste and a slightly bitter edge. Serve it hot on a cold evening, or chilled over ice in summer.

This is a simple, single-ingredient herbal tea with no caffeine, so it makes an easy warm drink for the evening. The flowers are sun-dried, and in Ayurveda the tree is known as Palasha. It is a tea to enjoy, and we do not claim that it treats any health condition.
