What is in it
We made this coffee with two things added: ground ginger and ground green cardamom. Nothing else. There is no sugar, no sweetener and no milk powder in the pouch.
We keep the ginger a little louder than the cardamom. Cardamom is strong and takes over a cup quickly, so a small amount goes a long way.
How it tastes
Ginger comes first, a dry, peppery warmth. Green cardamom follows with a perfumed, floral note, and the coffee sits underneath both. It is not a sweet drink. If you want it sweet, add your own sugar or milk.
How to brew it
- Filter or French press: use 2 level teaspoons (about 6 g) for every 150 ml of hot water.
- In a cup: put 2 level teaspoons in a cup, pour in 150 ml hot water, stir, and wait about a minute for the grounds to settle.
- Iced: stir 2 level teaspoons into 50 ml hot water, then add ice and cold water.
This is fine-ground coffee, not instant. A little sediment at the bottom of the cup is normal.

Is there any sugar or milk in it?
No. The pouch has only coffee, ginger and green cardamom. Add your own milk or sweetener if you like.
Is this instant coffee?
No. It is fine-ground coffee, so it does not dissolve fully. Use a filter or French press, or let it settle in the cup.
How many cups does one pouch make?
About 30 cups, at 2 level teaspoons for every 150 ml of hot water.
Does it contain caffeine?
Yes, it is made with coffee. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, sensitive to caffeine or take regular medicines, please check with your doctor first. Not recommended for children.
