What is Hedychium Spicatum Powder?

Spiked Ginger Lily has anti-inflammatory, fresh, antiasthmatic, anti-hic-cough, anthelmintic, antipyretic, cardiotonic, digestive and fecal astringent appetizer and relish properties. In Ayurveda, it is used for cough, asthma, hic-cough, indigestion, abdominal lump, worm infestation, and skin disease.

• Rasa (Taste): It has Katu, Tikta (astringent, pungent) taste.
• Virya (Potency): It is Ushna in nature (hot).
• Vipaka (Post-digestive taste): It is Katu (bitter) taste.
• Guna (Qualities) – Laghu, Tikshan.
• Doshakarma - Kapha vatashamaka.
