Jasmine Flower Tea is made from dried white jasmine (mogra) flowers, Jasminum sambac. Steep a spoonful in hot water and you get a pale golden cup with the soft, sweet fragrance of fresh jasmine. It is made only from the flowers, with no tea leaves and no added flavouring, so it has no caffeine.
Jasmine flowers have long been enjoyed in India as a fragrance and as part of a quiet evening ritual. This is a tea to sip slowly, hot on a cool evening or chilled over ice in summer. It is a simple floral tea to enjoy, and we do not claim that it treats any health condition.

How to make it
- Hot: Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried flowers to a cup (about 250 ml) of freshly boiled water. Steep for 5 to 7 minutes, then strain.
- Iced: Brew it a little stronger, let it cool, then pour over ice. A slice of lemon or a few mint leaves go well with it.
- Sweetener: Optional. The tea is already gently sweet in aroma, and a little honey (not for children under 1 year) is enough for most people.
- How much: 1 to 2 cups a day is plenty for most people.
