Why this one is a little different

Saffron, rose and cardamom show up together in many Indian sweets and drinks. We took the idea and put it in coffee, without the sugar. The saffron is a tiny amount, about half a gram in a pouch, and the rose and cardamom are slightly bigger parts of the blend.

A cup, step by step

1. Add 2 level teaspoons (about 6 g) to a cup.
2. Pour over 150 ml hot water and stir.
3. Leave it for a minute until the grounds settle.

You can also use a filter or French press at the same ratio. For iced, mix it into 50 ml of hot water first, then add ice and cold water. The grind is fine, so a little sediment stays in the cup.

Is the saffron real?

Yes, the pouch contains saffron, listed in the ingredients. It is a small amount, because saffron is used sparingly.

Will it taste like perfume?

The rose is kept light, so it should read as a floral note and not a strong perfume. Start with one cup before you buy more.

Is it a good gift?

Many people like it for that reason. It ships in our black pouch, and since each pouch is made after you order, allow time before a date.

Is there caffeine?

Yes, it is made with coffee. Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or take regular medicines. Not for children.
