What is Tinospora Cordifolia Stem Powder?
Tinospora cordifolia, known in India as Giloy, Guduchi or Amrita, is a climbing vine with heart-shaped leaves and thick, fleshy green stems. In Ayurveda the stem is the part used. This powder is made only from the dried stem, sun-dried and finely ground, with no fillers and no artificial additives.
Guduchi is one of the best-known herbs in Ayurvedic texts, and its Sanskrit name Amrita means "the one that is never old". It is described as a bitter, astringent and heating herb with a sweet after-taste, and it is taken in small amounts as a simple powder with water.
