Turmeric & Black Pepper Coffee | Golden Spiced, Fine-Ground, 200 g

Turmeric and black pepper ground into fine coffee, with a little cinnamon to round it out. That is 6 percent spice in the whole blend: 3 percent cinnamon, 2 percent turmeric, 1 percent black pepper. No sugar, no milk.

Don't expect a yellow cup

Turmeric is a strong color, but at 2 percent in dark coffee the cup stays dark. The "golden" is the style of the blend, not the color of the drink. Turmeric can stain light cups and fingers, so wipe spills.

What it tastes like

Turmeric brings an earthy, slightly bitter note, black pepper adds a small bite at the end, and cinnamon smooths the edges. It is a savory cup, not a sweet one.

How to make it

1. 2 level teaspoons (about 6 g) in a cup.
2. 150 ml hot water, stir.
3. Wait one minute for it to settle.

Filter and French press work at the same ratio. For iced: stir into 50 ml hot water, then add ice and cold water.

No. A latte has milk. This is coffee with spices, and no milk is added.

Is it spicy-hot?

Black pepper is only 1 percent of the blend, so you get a light bite, not heat.
