What is Night Jasmine Leaf Powder?
Night jasmine (Nyctanthes arbor-tristis), known in India as Harsingar, Harshringar or Parijat, is a small tree of the olive family. It is best known for its fragrant white flowers with orange centres, which open at dusk and fall at dawn. Its rough, dark green leaves are used in Ayurveda. This powder is made only from the dried leaves, sun-dried and finely ground, with no fillers and no artificial additives.
Shephalika is a well-known Ayurvedic tree. Its leaves are described as a bitter, light and heating herb, and they are taken in small amounts as a simple powder with water.
